About the Impact Teen Drivers Program
What's the #1 killer of teenagers, every year?
Reckless or distracted driving. Nothing else even comes close. Impact Teen Drivers, with the support of California Casualty Insurance, aims to change this through a high-profile awareness campaign.
Educate your kids about the Impact Teen Drivers program
Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for teenagers across the nation. 75% of these fatal teen crashes do not involve alcohol or drugs, but everyday reckless and distracted driving.
How do we "Impact Teen Drivers?"
In an effort to halt the high occurrence of needless casualties every year, Impact Teen Drivers, a dynamic public awareness program targets high schools, parent/teacher alliances alongside law enforcement agencies with materials designed to cut to the core of the issues.
Our presenters and materials aim to talk with instead of at teens in order to busting the myths that most teens have: "It won't happen to me," and "It only happens to kids who drink and drive."
The Impact Teen Drivers program focuses on emotional impact through real videos, photographs, and statistic infographics. These can combine to tell powerful real stories of lost and injured teens. The materials call them to action to accept responsibility for their own safety and the safety of those around them.
We can't do it alone. You and your family have an opportunity to help! The best part is you can be creative while contributing. How can you contribute? Find out in our special Impact Teen Drivers section of our website!
